I am a matcha snob and this passes the test. It is very strong compared to most matcha you can readily get in your standard grocery store or even coffee hut (besides maybe a really good tea shop). Honestly, I wasn’t ready for how strong it is and got coffee-like jitters for the rest of the day. That’s my fault. You really don’t need more than 2.5g! It’s very fresh and beautifully colored. It’s also astringent and nutty by taste with a smooth finish, although if you don’t whisk (or froth) it well, it will be a little dry on the tongue. I think the price is fair for quality and amount needed but it’s definitely expensive compared to what you might be able to find locally. It’s worth it in my opinion – this doesn’t need to be your everyday matcha but should be used as a treat if nothing else.

I’ve tried so much matcha powders before and I think it’s one is just perfect and my new favorite. I will definitely be rebuying again. The color is amazing and love the taste. It’s also a great price for the flavor and quality you’re getting.

Good for lattes and baking, but straight-up matcha is a little intense for me. The flavor is strong, which is great for mixing, but I prefer a milder taste when drinking it plain. Also, the bag is a bit flimsy; I wish it had a better zipper. Overall, solid premium matcha—just not my absolute favorite for traditional tea.

Finally found my go-to matcha! Whisked with just hot water, it’s smooth and complex—umami, grassy sweetness, and a clean finish. No need for sugar to balance bitterness. It’s also great in smoothies, adding a rich, healthy boost. The packaging is sturdy, and the powder stays fresh. For a premium organic matcha, this is a steal!
